| Snow! Do you miss is? Or do you have it everyday and are so sick of it? | | Snow! Where is the snow? I have lived in London all my life and when I was younger it seemed as though we were having snow every Christmas, without fail! Now, come Christmas it's either raining or cold and very sunny! I miss the snow and I sure wish that it would come back. There's just something so beautiful about the snow, it makes everything look so nice for a short while. Do you have snow yourself? Are you inundated with snow? Are you so sick of it that you want to experience concrete once more? Snow, it's fun for the kids and I have never actually built myself a snowman! | | Finally Stepping Up! | | Well I am finally going through all my stuff (hard!) and I am getting rid of the things I don't use/look at/bother with anymore!:) I am a Big Pack rat, but I am going through the nest now and emptying out! I'll be donating the stuff I find to an abused child center here, called Childhelp:) So far I've found 6 stuffed animals, 2 "How To Draw..." books and lots of stickers! Oh! And a couple posters, but I'm not sure they want posters or not, I emailed them and will know shortly (hopefully!) I'm also asking my friends if they have anything to donate.I wish I could do more and donate money, but as a non-working college student...money's a little tight! lol. But I'm at least happy I could do this little bit![em]thumbup[/em]I am going to school to become a social worker for children, so sometime in the future I may take one of he internships this center offers![em]cheering[/em] | |

| Should I asked for the meat she has left? | | I am not going to ask her for the meat. MY mother thinks I should ask for it. This is what happened. I went shopping and bought a big pack of lamb chops. I never ate in my life this stuff. So I decided to give it away. I called my neighbor to ask if she eats them. She said yes she does. So,I told her daughter to carry them to her house. I made the mistake of sending my huge pack of pork chops up stairs. Today I called to let her know of the mistake I made. She told me she gave half the pack away to her mother. So Now I can't get it back. MY mom wants to knock on her door to ask for my meat. My mother says she knew it was not lamb chops when she opened the pack. I feel like it was my fault I lose the $17.00 in meat. Please tell me what you think. Thanks so much | |
| | What do you know about lamb chops? | | I just went to get a steak I bought yesterday. Which is now cooking in my oven.I saw that I picked up lamb chops in place of pork chops. I thought it was pork chops. I should have known by the price of them. But,being it was the big pack from bj's I thought it was pork chops that price $17.00 I heard they smell up your house when you cook them. Is this also true? My mom is allergic to it so I am scared to cook them. If I give them to a neighbor should I ask them to buy it from me? Thanks for all your help | |

| Don't you feel bad after you spend that money? | | Today, I went to the SAM's club for shopping, a box of bottled coke; a big pack of gum; and a box of muffin for breakfast. I totally spent around $32 for that. I felt so bad after I look at my receipt. I should live frugally, and not to spend too much on something that I don't really need. On the other hand, I was trying to comfort myself. Do you feel the same after spend a certain amount of money? | |
| | Too Little For Too Much... | | Yesterday I went shopping and boy, did the price impact hit home. I went to two stores…one is a local discount store. I bought about 10 bags and one big box of groceries…it came to just a hair over $70. Then I went to our local grocery store to pick up the things that the discount store didn’t have and got 5 bags (2 of them each had a big pack of meat in them) and it came to almost $90. Hubby was upset b/c the some of the things (in fact most of them) that he really likes have skyrocketed in price. He likes these big sausage dogs and they went from $5.00 a pack to $9.00 a pack. Blocks of cheese, even the small ones, are anywhere from $4-6 where they used to be $2-3. It’s just depressing to go to the store and see how high everything is getting. I try to get most of what we need from the discount store to save money and then only buy what I have to have at the grocery store…but still the prices are steadily climbing. I wonder how long it will be before everyone is on foodstamps just to survive.Two good things is 1) they haven’t went to bread lines yet and 2) with the prices going so high I can’t afford all the “bad for you” food. Seriously, I hope things get better... | |

| | Is "Love" Enough??? | | OK, so I posted a blog about finding my "True Love" and all...but things have taken a rather sharp turn for the worse. She got ill and her "friends" kind of cut me out of her life by changing her phone number and not telling me if everything is good with her or not. A young lady that lives with her (and wants her BAAAD I must say) told me all kinds of bullsh*t saying my girl doesn't want me anymore and she will change her number and they will move. I didn't believe her, but it happened when I tried to call my girl on her birthday and her phone was off. I don't have a car so I cannot go by her house (which sucks for me). I haven't heard from her since about 2 weeks ago. I cannot go into detail about it but I'll give you a little background because I have a question...
We started dating back in February of 2006. We fell in love almost instantly. We had our ups and downs like every couple. Yesterday, when im alone at the mall just checking on new beauty product, i bump into these toothpaste whitening. Im wondering does it really works magic and whitens youre teeth or do you really have to go to the dentist and have this whitening processes that they do?Nonetheless, i still went ahead and bought a big pack and will give it a try. Im alone and got no one to ask if it does really work, of course if im going to ask any sale lady in store, theyd definitely work their sales talk with me.
