| Birthday Cake - Too Much | | My daughter had her 5th birthday party this weekend. My ex-husband thinks that I went overboard and that me making this cake was just as bad as the parents that spend thousands of dollars on a birthday party (see picture below).It is my family tradition to have a custom made birthday cake on a kids birthday. Do you think I went overboard. My daughter loves princesses and it was a Bowling Party so it seems appropriate to me. What do you think? | |
| | How old were your children the first time you took them bowling? | | I don't remember how old I was when I went bowling for the first time. My parents took us quite a few times each summer when they had specials where you could bowl each game for only .25 a game. I had a hot pink ball that weighed 6 lbs and when I was about 9 and on a league it was still to heavy for me so I never really enjoyed bowling. I could bowl better then than I can now. My father in law and his wife had a bumper bowling party for there sons 5th birthday party and my daughter loved it! She is 3 1/2. How old were you your first time bowling?
