| My is having a Shrek the Third birthday | | It's very well timed! My son turns 3 in a couple weeks and he is having a Shrek the Third birthday party. He is so cute. You ask him what kind of party he is having and he says "Shrek! I already had a cars party." (He had Cars for his 2nd birthday.) | |
| | Weddings, is the expense worth it? | | In Australia, couples often have big weddings. Not only the reception, but the bride's dress, bridesmaids' dresses, wedding cake, wedding cars, party favours - and don't forget the wedding stationery, make up and hairdos for the females, flowers, etc.Do you think the expense and stress of planning a wedding is worth all the effort for just one day? Though my father always said he'd give me the money that he could spend for the wedding and just have a small one, when it came to the crunch he wanted all his friends and family and I had a huge wedding (small by some standards - especially Italian backgrounds like ours - 230 people. LOL) In retrospect, I'm glad I had a large wedding. | |
