Talk about the party you're planning!| How about an ep. 7-9 cartoon instead of that crappy "clone wars"? | | I have said this time, and time again. The Clone Wars should have stopped at the live action movie ep. 2. Instead they continue to destroy the original storyline in that newer generation cartoon. So I propose they give that the axe... and make the last three episodes in either the computer generated format, or better yet get the people that made those first Clone Wars movie that first started on Cartoon Network. The name eludes me but if you have seen them, (take my word for it) that is some of the best SW footage ever. | |
| | Star Wars: The Clone Wars | | How are you all finding Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV Series? Season 1 just ended, and there's going to be a "Reloaded" series this May which will give way to the Season 2 premiere this fall.
So far from me, I can honestly say that it has gone a long way since that disappointing movie starter episode. If I wasn't such a fan myself I wouldn't have gone on and watched the series. Actually the first few episodes weren't good still but as it got further the events became pretty good! Especially when there starts the PG sign before the episode. You'll know it's going to be a good one.
I still hate Ahsoka Tano. I don't know why she's there but oh well, all the other characters, with the new villains included, were amazing!
This is the 2008 Clone Wars series okay, not the 2005 one. The 2005 one was off the hook. I can't even compare that one to this new one. But there, what do ya'll have to say? | |
| | Star Wars: The Clone Wars | | Okay, I have been a STAR WARS fan for years...I grew up watching these movies and when the new movies came out, I took my son to see them. I owned many of the toys, bought the books, have the movies on DVD, etc. But I just saw the previews for "the Clone Wars" that will be on Cartoon Network starting tomorrow. Now, I know that "The Clone Wars" cartoon movie was just in theaters a month ago, and yet now there is a cartoon spin off? How much is too much? I mean, we know the story, but it seems like Lucas just keeps producing spin off after spin off in his STAR WARS universe. How much story is there really to tell? Starting next year there will be another STAR WARS television program that will chronicle the story between Episode III and Episode IV.How about just write a new script and continue the story or, better yet, do something else besides STAR WARS all together? Don't get me wrong, I love the movies and all, but really, enough is enough. | |

| | More live action Star Wars films, please!!! | | Ever since 1977, I have been a HUGE Star Wars fan. I enjoyed all 6 of the live action films, but the Clone Wars films left me very unhappy. I know George Lucas originally intended for 9 films to be made, but he only made 6. Come on! There's so much more to be told in the universe that Lucas created. I would love to see the film adaptations of the New Jedi Order series and the Legacy of the Force series as well as any future Star Wars writings, but only if it's live action.
So, what do all you other Star Wars fans think? Should there or should there not be more live action Star Wars movies? | |
