| Little Mermaid Girl | | Recently the Little Mermaid girl was seen on Oprah and I was so inspired by the story because of her courage. The interview process was so cute. Her personality was shining. Am sad this afternoon to read a news article that she had passed away. My sympathy to her family and many friends. Theres soo many great songs to choose from but I think my favorite would have to be Part of your world..I love the lyrics and I just love her voice singing that song.

| Love yesterday vs. Love today: The Little Mermaid | | Okay... I have to do this because the little mermaid Part of Your World song thingie is the avatar for the Love interest.
So... here goes.
Love Yesterday: Ariel changes herself into a human and lives among people to catch the attention of the Prince (or whoever he is)and win his heart before sundown of the third day. Despite the attempts of Ursula to thrwart her efforts, Ariel finds her true love and love triumphs over all.
Love Today: Ariel never makes it ashore. She becomes ensnared with a school of dolphins in Japanese fishing nets, is hauled onboard a fishing trawler and can be found on a shelf at Wal Mart, on aisle 9, the canned meats aisle, in a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna. Why do you think there's a mermaid on the label?

| | Was anyone else totally obsessed with the little mermaid? | | When I was little I would watch this movie all the time. I think I set a world record when I watched about 50 times in one week. As soon as it would end, I would rewind it and start over. I drove my family nuts. I still love the movie:) | |

| The Little Mermaid | | What did you think of the Little Mermaid, the proper version or disney, which do you prefer? I personally like both, I'm a big mermaid fan but my main fave has to be the original where she dies in the end of it all, I want your opinion on both. I think the disney is great for kids and families, the older version is much more mature as it has death in it and not so much romance, plus heartbreak. I love both, they make me cry.Disney's version: 10/10 for design and wonderful singing,

| Has anyone seen the Little Mermaid movies? | | My oldest Jenniffer got the Little Mermaid movie for her birthday in December and on it it has a preview for Little Mermaid 3 and Ariel has a fin again. In the end of 1 she had legs and married to Prince Eric. In 3 she is in the ocean and with her fin again. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happened and why she has a fin again. I haven't been able to find Little Mermaid 2 to watch so I figured that someone on here might know.

| | Do anyone else's kids LOVE The Little Mermaid? | | My b/g twins are completely addicted to The Little Mermaid. They like Shark Tales too but Mermaid is always a must! They are 13 1/2 months old. It's just hilarious to watch them. They both love dancing to the music too. Sooo cute. | |
