| Children's Valentine's Day Party | | I'm on the planning committee for a Valentine's party at our church for about 50 children, ages 3 to 12. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for food, games, decorations, etc? This will be an indoor event held at night. | |
| | It Happened AGAIN!!! | | So, it couldn't happen 2 days in a row, right? I'm thinking it is all just a coincidence. Me seeing the FedEx guy on the road yesterday when I was off work and not expecting to see him on my day off. So, I'm off work again today.I get up this morning, take my son to the babysitter 1 and half hour later than I normally do. I go to Wal-Mart and do some of my weekly shopping. I am leaving Wal-Mart and boom, driving right past me, my FedEx guy. I just smiled to myself and thought, "What the heck is going on?!?!". So, it's still just coincidence, right? Is it? I wish someone could tell me.[em]surrender[/em]So, I go home, do my stuff for the day. I went to my daughter's Valentine's Day Party at school. Then I wait outside school for a teenager who babysits for me to get out of school because she wanted to go with me to pick my son up from the babysitter. She is late getting out because she had to go pick something up in the girl's locker room. She finally comes out and we head to go pick up my son. I'm just driving down the road listening to her talk about her week at school. Then turning right in front of me, it's Mr. FedEx AGAIN!! What is... | |

| I hate surprises.... | | Hi all,
I know this might sound weird for some people but I really hate surprises...
I don't know why.. maybe because I'm a Scorpion and we normally hate surprises not sure...
Here is the thing.. My boyfriend loves surprises I used to think it's very romantic that your loved one surprises you and do something you really like without telling you. But that was before me being surprised:s
I actually ruined two so far because I get mad at him each time he hides things from me...
He was planning to show up on Valentine's day's party that my friend invited him to. He said he's not coming and started making problems with me -because he wanted to come and surprise me- I freaked out and lost control I actually was about to break up with him...
Then he said he was coming -I sound stupid right??-..
Anyways now he's very upset and mad at me he decided not to come. I'm going to be alone in the party...
What can I do?
And what about you do you like surprises or you hate it as well????Thanks. | |
| | What Valentines Day means to a 5 year old!!!! | | My oldest daughter is 5 years old and will not be turning 6 until mid May and she is half ay through grade 1 and doing rather well thankfully ... lol! She brought home a note from school today from her Teacher informing me about their Valentine's Day party with a list of all of the students names. She is my oldest so i have not had to buy Valentines Day cards until today and i have to say i was excited knowing how excted she was. When we got home i put all the snacks for the party (dry goods) in a party bag and i gave her the list of her fellow students and all darned. I was actually quite impressed that she filled out 21 cards with no mistakes, with who they are from and marked a check mark by each name as she went along all within half an hour. I guess i am just beaming as my daughter is so mature and growing up ... LOL!!! | |

| Valentine's Day When you are 5 years old!!!! | | My 5 year old daughters class is having their Valentine's Day party on the 12th as there will be no school on Valentine's Day because of a Teachers conference. So we went shopping today and she is in grade 1 so her Teacher sent her home a list of her classrooms names and the notice for their party. So we bought snacks for her party and i for the first time as a parent had to buy Valentines Day cards i was excited ... LOL!!! The cutest part is she is the youngest in her class and one of the top students and will not be six until May. She used the list of names that her Teacher had typed out and she wrote in total 21 Valentines Day cards out and put who they were from. She did it in no time at all too and i was super impressed. Filled out 21 Cards in a matter of half an hour i thought that this was rather good for her age. I guess i finally get to experience new things as a parent with her being in gr 1 now and i find it awesome!!! | |
| | Does anyone have a cute or funny Valentine's Day story? | | My story is a bit embarassing. I was in charge of a church "couples" Valentine's Day party. I planned some cute games including a "Newlywed" game. The actual party fell on the Saturday AFTER Valentine's Day so I went shopping to pick up the prizes for the games and found some great after Valentines' Day specials. I got several of the heart-shaped boxes of chocolates. I was so proud of myself for getting such a great deal. Well, when it came time to award the prizes for the games, each couple opened their heart-shaped box to find a big gooey glob of melted chocolates! Obviously melted and old! I was mortified but laughed it off! What's your story? I give lots of +'s! | |

| Valentine's Day - Like or Dislike | | I know, I know, I am a little late with this question, but it just came into my head and I want to hear some responses. Do you like or dislike Valentines day? To me it's just a stupid holiday that "forces" guys and girls to get each other things and to act all "lovey" when the guys and girls should just pick their own days that are special to them instead. | |
| | Review of "I Hate Valentine's Day" | | Okay, do not even BOTHER with this movie. I had to watch it for the last 2 hours, and I thought it was going to be an okay movie n even partly good, but it was just bad bad bad. The acting was really weird, the character acted weird throughout. and it was just boring. They tried to make jokes in it to make it interesting n funny, but they really failed. n it was just a boring plotline throughout the whole movie. I can honestly say this was one of the worst movies ive ever seen, and do not even bother renting it. it is a waste of ur money and time and will only aggrivate you. | |

| Valentine's Day With Your Spouse | | This year was the first Valentine's Day that I got to spend with my husband. We just recently got married in December, so I was really looking forward to this. I didn't expect much, since we didn't really have the money to get extravagant gifts. Even though my husband couldn't get me anything (which doesn't bother me since I don't like material objects anyway), he woke me up with breakfast in bed. He cooked me french toast in the shape of hearts. He also put a flower on each side of the plate. It was so cute! I was very amazed at the thoughtful gesture. We went to church that morning too. The day was just perfect:) How did other Mylotters spend their Valentine's Day? What did your spouse do for you? What did you do for your spouse? | |
